Hieu Tran, CFA

Hieu Tran is an Investment Manager at Do Ventures, where he leads the firm's work in AI, advanced manufacturing, and supply chain technology. He has been investing since 2018.

At Do Ventures, he has led investments including Bizzi, an AI-driven spend-management platform for Vietnamese enterprises, and VinMake, which connects Vietnam's textile manufacturing base with global fashion brands. He also works closely with Coolmate as the company expands beyond Vietnam.

Hieu began his investment career at Red Square Vietnam, where he supported TPG, the US-based private equity firm, on Vietnam market research and deal sourcing. He later joined ESP Capital, leading research efforts at the fund before becoming part of the founding team at Do Ventures.

Hieu is a CFA charterholder and holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Foreign Trade University. Outside work, he is an endurance sports enthusiast, racing ultra-distance trails and training toward his first Ironman.
