TRUC TRAN

Truc Tran is an Investment Manager at Do Ventures, where he focuses on deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, and exit execution across the firm's investments.

At Do Ventures, he has led investments across sectors, including Palexy, an AI-powered operations platform serving global clients across nine markets; Ecomobi, Southeast Asia's leading social commerce platform connecting brands with more than one million creators across TikTok, Shopee, and Lazada; and Validus, a regional SME lending platform helping close the working capital gap for underserved businesses.

Truc’s investment career spans venture capital and commercial banking. At ESP Capital, one of Vietnam's first homegrown venture capital firms, he worked across early-stage investments before joining Do Ventures. He began his career in commercial banking, working with businesses across a broad range of industries.

Truc holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking from the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City and an MBA from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary in the United States. Outside of work, he enjoys running, cycling, and hiking, and is the proud father of his son, Gấu.
