In 2008, he was one of the first members of CyberAgent Capital, a venture arm of CyberAgent group from Japan.

He initiated a leading venture investment practice for the firm in Vietnam and Thailand. As an early partner of startups, Dzung is deeply dedicated to helping founders build successful companies. He is recognized for his ability to venture build successful startups from scratch to hundred-million-dollar valuation, notably his investments in TIKI.VN, FOODY.VN, BATDONGSAN.COM.VN, VEXERE, CLEVERADS, etc.

Vy Le

Co-founder and General Partner

Vy Le is the Co-founder and General Partner of Do Ventures. She is an innovative serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in operations and keen insights into the Vietnam market. At 13, she founded TmSpeed Network, specialized in web development and hosting service. In 2010, Vy founded Chon.vn and served as CEO, developing the platform into one of the most popular online fashion shopping centers in Vietnam. In 2014, she exited Chon.vn to Vingroup, the largest private conglomerate in Vietnam. She then served as the CEO of Vingroup’s ecommerce subsidiary, Adayroi.com, and successfully scaled the company from scratch to reach a few hundred million USD in revenue. Throughout her career, she is known as an innovative leader with an outstanding ability to inspire employees and facilitate teamwork, creativity, and productivity.

Vy graduated as Valedictorian from Georgetown University (United States). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.

Truc Tran

Investment Officer

Truc Tran is an Investment Officer at Do Ventures. He is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Do Ventures, Truc was an Investment Associate at ESP Capital, where he supported the fund in sourcing deals, performing due diligence, and conducting portfolio fundraising activities. He started his career in the banking industry in Vietnam. Through his experience of advising financial services and conducting due diligence on the business of local companies, he has developed a profound understanding in business appraisal in various industries. Truc holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from Banking University (Vietnam) and an MBA degree from Raymond A. Mason School of Business, the College of William and Mary (United States).

Anh Vuong

Investment Officer

Anh Vuong is an Investment Officer at Do Ventures. He is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, and various deal supporting activities. Prior to joining Do Ventures, he was an Investment Associate at ESP Capital, where he successfully contributed to deal sourcing activities of the fund. He was also in charge of supporting portfolio companies in terms of business development and fundraising. In his early career, he built his business foundation by starting Tiemsap, a retail startup in Vietnam that focused on hair and grooming products for men. Nhat Anh holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and International Business Economics from Foreign Trade University (Vietnam).

Dung is an Investment Officer at Do Ventures. She is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, and deal management. Prior to joining Do Ventures, she was a manager of Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst and Young Consulting Vietnam (EY). She led a team of 8 analysts and associates to perform M&A advisory work, financial modelling, and strategic planning for both buy-side and sell-side in various sectors, including healthcare, insurance, banking, agriculture, etc. She started her career as an audit associate at EY.

Dung holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Sheffield Hallam University (United Kingdom) and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Vietnam National University (Vietnam).

Hieu Tran

Investment Analyst

Hieu Tran is an Investment Analyst at Do Ventures. He is responsible for market research & analysis, deal sourcing, and various deal supporting activities. Prior to joining Do Ventures, Hieu was an Investment Analyst at ESP Capital, where he performed market research on consumer tech sector and vetted early-stage startup investments. He was also in charge of building the fund's internal databases such as funding activities in the Vietnam market and investor bank in SEA. Before that, he interned with Red Square Vietnam - a local boutique investment and advisory firm which advised TPG - a global PE firm on deal sourcing in Vietnam. He worked closely with the team to conduct top-down market research and build up the deal flow database for TPG. Hieu holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Foreign Trade University (Vietnam).

He also has experience in building member of data-focused disciplines from scratch. Nhi Nguyen

Senior Growth Officer

Nhi Nguyen is a Senior Growth Officer at Do Ventures. He is an experienced leader in online business and best known for his management positions at leading Online Grocery and Food Delivery businesses in Vietnam. He started his career as a business analyst at VinEcom, and he was one of the first members to build the foundation for Vinmart’s online grocery operations. Later on, he was promoted to Head of online Grocery at Vinmart, managing all aspects of the business from supply management, sales development, online marketing, to logistics and supply chain management. In 2018, Nhi served as Managing Director of Vietnammm.com, one of the leading food delivery platforms and became COO of Baemin Vietnam when the company was acquired by Baemin. He has an outstanding ability to bridge the gap between technology understanding and business operations. Throughout his career, he has successfully demonstrated his ability to design operations flow and leverage data to optimize online conversion rate for many businesses.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Vietnam – Netherlands Master Program, and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from National Academy of Public Administration (Vietnam).

Thuc Vu

Venture Partner

Thuc Vu is a Venture Partner at Do Ventures. He is a serial entrepreneur and a world-class scientist with extensive experiences in Silicon Valley and Vietnam. A seasoned expert in Artificial Intelligence and Algorithms, he is the CEO and co-founder of OhmniLabs, a company that creates affordable home telepresence robots to connect distant families and improve life quality. Previously, he founded a number of tech companies, notably Katango and Tappy, which were acquired by Google and Weeby.co. He serves as a Research Scientist and Assistant Professor at Jon von Neumann Institute (Vietnam) and co-founded VietSeeds Foundation. Thuc also advises a number of startups and connects them with resources in the Bay Area and Vietnam. At Do Ventures, Thuc is responsible for sourcing deals from Vietnamese communities in the US and other countries. With his deep expertise in computer science, he is also in charge of providing technology support for portfolio companies. In 2017, Thuc was nominated as one of the most 40 influential people under 40 years old in Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. He earned his Ph.D. from Stanford University (USA) and a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon (USA), both in computer science.

In his early career, he started as an auditor and consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Vietnam- one of the Big Four accounting firms. Through more than 10 years of professional working experience in a wide range of industries and business models, he is highly respected for his deep knowledge, profound insights of the market, as well as strong professional and ethical code of conduct. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hanoi University (Vietnam) and currently a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK).
