Thao Nguyen

Thao is an Investment Analyst at Do Ventures, where she focuses on climate tech and agritech. She is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and supporting the execution of investments, with a particular focus on understanding Vietnam's climate sectors and identifying where capital can help address structural gaps.

Thao began her investment career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Thien Viet Securities Company, where working alongside startups sparked her interest in venture investing. Since joining Do Ventures, she has spent significant time studying Vietnam's climate ecosystem to better understand the opportunities and challenges facing the sector.

Thao holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from RMIT University Vietnam. Her interest in climate solutions was shaped in part by seeing footage of mass penguin die-offs, which made the consequences of environmental change feel much more tangible. Outside work, she enjoys dance classes, reading about geopolitics and different cultures, volunteering at an art gallery for Saigon's Children Charity, and planning her next trip.
