Hieu Tran is an Investment Manager at Do Ventures. He is responsible for market research & analysis, deal sourcing, and various deal supporting activities. Prior to joining Do Ventures, Hieu was an Investment Analyst at ESP Capital, where he performed market research on consumer tech sector and vetted early-stage startup investments. He was also in charge of building the fund's internal databases such as funding activities in the Vietnam market and investor bank in SEA. Before that, he interned with Red Square Vietnam - a local boutique investment and advisory firm which advised TPG - a global PE firm on deal sourcing in Vietnam. He worked closely with the team to conduct top-down market research and build up the deal flow database for TPG. Hieu holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Foreign Trade University (Vietnam).
