Biography
Vy Le is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Do Ventures, a Vietnam-based venture capital firm investing in technology companies that drive productivity, innovation, and long-term economic transformation. She has backed more than 40 startups across education technology, financial services, AI, creator commerce, cross-border trade, and climate innovation. Several portfolio companies have scaled to Series B and beyond, including MindX, Southeast Asia’s largest technology education platform, and Metub, featured as a Harvard Business School case study on building sustainable creator economies in emerging markets.
Beyond investing, Vy plays a central role in shaping Vietnam’s private capital and innovation agenda. She currently serves as Chair of the Vietnam Private Capital Agency (VPCA), the country’s leading platform representing venture capital and private equity investors. In this role, she works closely with government agencies, policymakers, and global investors to strengthen regulatory frameworks, improve market transparency, and mobilize long-term private capital in support of Vietnam’s national development priorities. Under her leadership, VPCA has become a key bridge between the public and private sectors on innovation financing and sustainable growth.
Vy is also committed to inclusive innovation. She previously held leadership roles at the Technology Center for the Blind, supporting the use of technology to expand access to education, employment, and digital skills for visually impaired communities.
A serial entrepreneur, Vy founded her first company at 13 and later launched Vietnam’s first fashion e-commerce platform, Chon.vn, which was acquired by Vingroup. She subsequently served as CEO of Vingroup’s e-commerce subsidiary, Adayroi. She has also held leadership roles with UNICEF NextGen and the Vietnam E-commerce Association. Vy graduated valedictorian from Georgetown University and is a member of the Young Global Leaders community of the World Economic Forum.
