THUC VU

Thuc Vu is a Venture Partner at Do Ventures. He is a serial entrepreneur and a world-class scientist with extensive experiences in Silicon Valley and Vietnam.

He was the ex-CEO and co-founder of OhmniLabs, a Silicon Valley robotics company that develops and manufactures human-centric autonomous robots. He has since exited the company. Previously, he also founded and exited a number of tech companies, notably Katango and Tappy, which were acquired by Google and Weeby.co. He serves as a Research Scientist and Assistant Professor at Jon von Neumann Institute (Vietnam) and co-founded VietSeeds Foundation. Thuc also advises a number of startups and connects them with resources in the Bay Area and Vietnam. As the Venture Partner at Do Ventures, Thuc provides Tech Due Diligence support and Tech support for the portfolio companies. In 2017, Thuc was nominated as one of the most 40 influential people under 40 years old in Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. He earned his Ph.D. from Stanford University (USA) and a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon (USA), both in computer science.
