Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant is a critical role that oversees the company's financial and accounting management, requiring strong practical and proactive capabilities. This role not only handles accounting processes but also manages the overall financial operations, including cash flow and execution. We are looking for a candidate who can grow into a CFO perspective to establish financial strategies in the long term.

In this startup environment, you will take on a leadership role, closely communicating with investors and collaborating with banks and authorities (SBV, Tax Authority) in Vietnam.

• Accounting Operations Management: Oversee daily accounting tasks and ensure the accuracy of all transaction records as managing withdrawal and deposit

• Financial Report Preparation: Financial Report Preparation: Prepare, analyze, and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and loans to investors and board.

• Tax Filing and Legal Compliance: Responsible for tax filings and reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws.

• Investor Relations and Communication: Manage the investor due diligence process, attract new investors, and maintain smooth communication with investors.

• Cash Flow Management: Analyze and manage cash flow to maintain the company’s financial health.

• Internal Controls: Establish and improve internal control systems to safeguard company assets.

• Storage: Bookkeeping and document storage as required by current laws and regulations.

• Communication with Banks and Authorities: Facilitate communication with banks (SBV) and tax authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Management Support: Provide data-driven financial analysis and strategic advice to assist management in decision-making.

• Team Support and Collaboration: Support all departments with financial and accounting-related requests and ensure a smooth working environment.

• Automation and System Optimization: Lead the future implementation and optimization of financial and accounting systems, currently without an ERP system.

• Payment: Making payment of employee benefits after getting approval from the manager.

• Assets: Control and manage corporate assets, ensuring asset depreciation in accordance with laws and regulations.

• Other tasks: as requested by the Director

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in accounting and finance (preferably in a startup environment)

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making ability

• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams

• Fluent English: Proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken

Preferred

• Experience in implementing and managing automation systems: ERP system experience or ability to lead the implementation of automated accounting systems
